Experimental Improvisation Trio
"감각적이고 즉흥적인, 소리에 대한 실험적 탐구"
소리와 악기에 대한 탐구와 실험의 과정을 거듭하고, 형식과 전통이라는 경계를 넘나들며 서울, 로스엔젤레스, 파리, 베를린, 도쿄 등 다양한 지역적, 문화적 기반으로 음악적 실험을 이어나가는 이들은 다양한 장르의 예술가와의 협업을 통해 자신이 가진 음악적 언어를 거침없이 내보이고 있다. 이번 공연에서는 세 가지 다른 구성으로 실험적인 자유즉흥음악을 선보일 예정이다.
This trio made up of Jeonghyeon Joo, Jiyun Song, and Rachel Epperly will perform experimental improvisation in three different configurations. The performers come from a variety of backgrounds and styles including Korean traditional music, Western classical and contemporary music, and experimental art. Together, they explore new sounds through improvisation that range from percussive, to expressive, to noisy and wild.
