Korean Australian singer-songwriter and musician, Dami Im has announced her seventh
studio release ‘In Between’ via ABC Music for July 7, in addition to a limited run of live performances
along the East Coast.
The In Between EP is the commencement of a new exciting era in Dami’s musical evolution and a
reflection of her personal journey.
As Dami explains, “In Between is a collection of songs I made amidst the rocky shift into motherhood.
The seven tracks chronologically document the seven stages of emotional states, exploring themes of
identity, societal expectations, love, and friendship, before ultimately realizing that life exists within the
liminal space of the In Between”.
Many collaborations took place on the EP including five tracks that were co-written and produced by
ARIA and APRA award winning songwriter, producer Jason Bovino, Amy and George Sheppard, Tom Eggert and Andy Mak. ‘In Between’ was co-written
by, and features, singer, songwriter and producer, Jude York.
